It’s part recital, part open mic, and part Stones concert. Needless to say, it’s a blast.

We organize the Jam guided by five principles:

  1. Having Fun!
    Playing music is all about spreading joy.
  2. Providing a Memorable, Meaningful Experience!
    When everything’s going right, live music can be a transcendent experience for both performers and audience members. We want to make that happen.
  3. Sustainability!
    We want the Jam to flourish for years to come.
  4. Real-World Experience!
    The Jam gives students a little taste of what professional gigging musicians experience.
  5. Motivation!
    The promise of glory on the stage is a great motivator for polishing those chops.
